About:

Sewanhaka High School seventh-graders in Diane Ventura’s class participated in the Hance Family Foundation’s Emma’s Mile on May 20, raising $800 for the organization. Raymond Ortega and Kimberly Stephens placed third in the run, while Abigail Percy placed seventh for their age group. After the race, the students enjoyed time at Family Fun Day in Centennial Gardens in Floral Park.
